Ok. Love love love the story so far. Been here from the start and AoC is one of my daily always-check sites.

So…Sorry to nitpick, but in panel four the young female is reaching out with her right hand while her left holds the mask behind her. Yet in panel five, Fortimer somehow knocks the mask from her hand with his left hand – which would be the farthest away from hers!

Generally, I understand that the artistic style of the comic borders on Surrealism, or perhaps the metaphysical art of Chirico – so being a stickler for perspective and such is sort of foolish. But this prologue has been more ‘cartesian’ and so the physical improbability of the act as portrayed seemed out of place.
